So since my last post, a fair amount has changed and I've kinda forgotten to push my commits to github. I visited my parents and picked up my raspberrypi model B to control my remote sockets. I had previously modified my case and added a cpu fan to keep it cool, however this was not needed anymore. I decided to order a new case from modmypi.com for something silly like £5 which happened to got lost by postman? Found a new place to order a case for just £1 and with p&p it was around £3.
They case has arrived, only thing that's annoying is the network leds! After a little research i Found you needed to patch the module in kernel and compile. This now allows you to control network leds without installing anything other than the custom kernel. It's the latest kernel and will be pushed to github and links will be added on this post this evening. THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH MODEL A/B (NOT B+ OR 2B)
I Will not take responsibility if you attempt to install on b+ or 2b. I'm running this kernel and it's stable at present
