revolut.com Review
Last night i helped my mum setup account and it didn't really work, pins to setup the account wasn't accepted and it was generally a fucked up messed so gave up.
Went to spend $1.18 on my account and was declined when i had £2.20 in my account, i was confused so went to login and it asked me to verify my card? I followed instructions and guess what........ my bank statement didn't have any reference of a 4 number code. Support was offline so left it till today and i've given them all the information and now they need to investigate it further? I'm now worried as they've suspended my account and also have my credit card details on there system, I've requested they close my account to no response as such!
I'd be too kind to give them a rating of 2/10, lack of support and the fact they can suspend me over an unknown reason (They won't tell me why), anyhow it's 12:59pm and the last thing they said was passing me over to someone else
I'll keep you guys updated
Update: 2pm no reply from support via app, so contacted them via Facebook. They don't seem to fussed about it

Voting Day
Today is the day England/Wales/Scotland vote to see if we leave the EU. I've already made my mind up about voting and decided voting for neither of them.
Obviously the UK is a fucked country already full of polish that are claiming child benefit for children back in Poland. Our goverment have fucked our country and voting to leave the EU will not put our country back in a hurry.
I'm happy to say the outcome will not bother me, nor will it effect my life!

Not much
Well thought I'd may as well blog whilst I have the time. I've been kept rather busy past few weeks I don't have time to fart let alone blog.
Well our move was cancelled (we pulled out) as the landlord seemed to not what to agree on something so thought fuck him. So we are staying where we are with some luxury stuff.
We swapped our Internet from sky to plusnet and got a year free (adsl) after some shocking speeds I decided to call them and they offered us fibre for £16.99 a month for 18months. We are due to go live on the 29th of this month and expect speeds of 70-80mb! Happy days
I've also been breaking things I think, my raspberry pi and pico ups decided to muck up. The raspberry pi 2 would power up however ethernet wouldn't operate and the cpu would get really hot. After a quick search I found a replacement pi2 on ebay for £22 so grabbed it. The pico ups still powers up however I'm reluctant to install it on my replacement pi2 just in case it's that which fried my pi. I've purchased a replacement pico ups from the manufacturer and after a 5days wait they finally processed my order. I then emailed to enquire about tracking and got a reply sorry we didn't send tracked and we'll send again today tracked? So I've got 2 of them on the way.
Anyhow, I'm off to sleep if you get bored visit www.letstalkcoding.xyz and register then come say hello to us in chat!

A lot has happened.....
So since my last post, a fair amount has changed and I've kinda forgotten to push my commits to github. I visited my parents and picked up my raspberrypi model B to control my remote sockets. I had previously modified my case and added a cpu fan to keep it cool, however this was not needed anymore. I decided to order a new case from modmypi.com for something silly like £5 which happened to got lost by postman? Found a new place to order a case for just £1 and with p&p it was around £3.
They case has arrived, only thing that's annoying is the network leds! After a little research i Found you needed to patch the module in kernel and compile. This now allows you to control network leds without installing anything other than the custom kernel. It's the latest kernel and will be pushed to github and links will be added on this post this evening. THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH MODEL A/B (NOT B+ OR 2B)
I Will not take responsibility if you attempt to install on b+ or 2b. I'm running this kernel and it's stable at present

A success....
So i stated the coding days would return and yes they have already. Started playing with an old module from ircd-seven called sasl_usercloak.c which would give users that used sasl the host example.username (providing you had account within the spoofed host) in ircd.conf
With irccloud now a very popular mobile client and making it harder to ban just one user it would ban many (using hostname) i decided to modify the sasl module so it would give a spoofed host like gateway/irccloud.com/x-59638385.
You'd have to set this up via ircd.ircd.conf and using spoofed hostnames! I'll be pushing to github later today if anyone is interested in it.
It's sunday and I'm resting today as on medication possibly for life now!

Coding Days are coming back
So it's been a long time since i made any changes to sIRCd. I literally let Ryan take over the project, however i have made some changes to it since. That all come to an end when i found a new app called periscope which has took over all my spare time.
I'll be launching my website again and will make this my priority on top off other little projects i have going and of course looking after my kids and spending time with my other half.
My RaspberryPi2 and the UPS is functioning just perfect now and it operates like it should after a firmware update (0x58) so would should reach a year uptime providing i don't restart it.
We've got 3 house viewings booked so, hopefully one of the 3 will become our new house in the next 4-8weeks! Hopefully it'll be house number 1 or number 3 (house 2 has such poor broadband speeds I'd actually cry)
Anyhow it's friday and I'm off to do some debugging on irc and possibly add a new feature by this evening if not it'll be by Sunday
Peace ✌

Monday Morning
Good morning
It's a fresh monday morning and I'm happy to say that my raspberry pi & PiCo UPS is working as expected without any problems!
I've been hunting around and found a new script however reluctant to run it due to a few things that may indeed need changing. It'll email me when power outage or even when power returns and if battery is low?
I'll be giving this a test at some point today, hopefully i don't break anything whilst doing so! End of the month I'll be collecting my raspberry pi (model b 512mb) and using that also for some stuff.
If you get bored reading my blogs, visit http://chat.letstalkcoding.net and give me a message!
PEACE!

Nearly a year without a blog
Hello hello,
I can't believe it's nearly been a year since my last blog, life's been pretty hectic to say the least!
We are trying to get moved, basically this house is actually a dive! We have mould in every room upstairs, boiler leaks, we have a loft full of mice and it's too small for us and the landlord is putting rent up to £750 a month (Extra £100). We've found a new place a 3 bed bungalow with a garage and drive way for £800 a month!
Let's hope this place becomes our new home so the garage can become my new workshop for computers and stuff.
Modmypi
These guys situated around 20 minutes drive from me in Tunbridge deserve a shoutout due to amazing support they've offered me for my pico ups for my raspberry pi. This now gives me the ability to run on batteries for up to 8hours should we have no electricity (power cut or something)
My goals for this year is to blog more, so expect more rambling from me this year!
Happy Sunday people.
